THE PLAN:
developed today, Thursday, April 24th 2008.
9 holes, 9 artists (individuals or teams).
no organizing theme other than the astro-turf path leading from one hole to the next. oh and of course that general sense we want to impart of "gee mom and dad isn't it ZANY to be an art student?!"
you guys supply the putters, I supply the astro-turf.
play or due or install date---the opening of the BFA exhibition, Friday, May 30th.
atmospheric, costumeric, and sonic elements considered as well.
location to be determined.
by Thursday May 1st, stake your claim on a hole and/or an element design and describe it somewhat here on the blog.
if you ARE going to design a hole for the course this will function as your final project for this class. if you want to incorporate some sense/aspect of clay that's swell.
everyone who was on the steering committee today feel free to chime in with corrections/comments/expansions
